Who is responsible
Aravind Chakravarthy Yerramsetti operates Leafin from the United Kingdom and is responsible for personal information handled by the platform. Contact privacy@joinleafin.com for privacy questions, access or deletion requests.
Information used by the platform
Leafin processes your account email and sign-in information; the profile, skills, goals, experience, availability and location information you choose to provide; connections and invitations; and messages, files, project work, Lab content and learning evidence you create. Service providers also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service. We record your account, accepted terms and privacy-notice versions, and acceptance time. That agreement record does not itself grant marketing or device permissions.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use account and collaboration information to provide the service you request, including matching people, running Circles and saving shared work. Processing necessary to provide those services is based on our contract with you. Service security, misuse prevention and resolving disputes rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights; legal obligations may require other processing. Where processing requires consent, we request it separately and explain how to withdraw it. Agreeing to terms is not consent to every possible use of your information.
Sharing and your choices
Your discoverability and profile choices affect what other members can see. People you collaborate with can see the messages and work shared with them. Only share material appropriate for those recipients. Coordinates supplied for nearby matching are used to calculate reach; other members receive derived distances rather than your private coordinate fields. Online matching can work without precise coordinates. Camera, microphone and screen sharing require separate browser actions. Choose only the content you intend to share.
Providers and AI
Hosting, account authentication, storage, email delivery, real-time collaboration and media providers process information needed for their service. Leafin uses Lovable/Supabase infrastructure, Render collaboration hosting and LiveKit media technology. If you use an AI feature, its prompt and relevant workspace context are processed by the configured AI provider to generate a response. Avoid placing confidential or unnecessary personal information in prompts. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable international-transfer protections are required where relevant.
Retention and account deletion
Information is kept while needed to provide the service and maintain your account. You can request deletion through your profile or by email. Deletion may involve background processing, backups and shared records. Limited information may remain where needed for security, legal obligations or disputes. Copies already downloaded by another member are outside Leafin’s direct control. Ask us about the retention of a specific record.
Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for consent-based processing. We may need to verify your identity. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local supervisory authority. Contact privacy@joinleafin.com to exercise your rights, including if you do not accept the terms.
Browser storage and updates
Leafin uses browser storage necessary for sign-in and service preferences. Optional uses that require consent must be offered separately. This notice will be updated as the service changes; the version at the top identifies this notice.
